Happy New Year!

January 07, 20252 min read

Firstly, Happy New Year! Todays blog post is more of a personal one about where I have been and what to expect for 2025.

Where Have I Been?

In December I got the flu and had to take some unexpected time off. We then had Christmas and I decided not to put too much pressure on myself to get back to work to give myself time to heal. So here I am, having taken almost a month off!

I'm back now, and have lots of exciting things planned for 2025.

Coming Up...

My New Book

Firstly, I have my new book, which has been in the pipeline for a while.

Neurodiversity and Mindfulness: Finding Inner Peace - book, coming soon. Sign up here for notifications.

The book is about how to adapt mindfulness in a way that is suitable for those with Neurodiversity. For example, sitting still to do a mindful meditation is extremely difficult for somebody with ADHD who is always needing to move. The book addresses this, and much more.

I hope to release the book by the Summer of 2025.

New Self-Led Growth Mindset Courses in the Pipeline

More to come on this throughout 2025. I'm still in the process of finalising them.

More Blog Posts and Tips

Here is where I need your help. I have written a lot of blog posts about the basics of mindfulness, as well as some more in depth ones. Some of you have been with me for a long time now and may be looking for something more specific. For example, how to mentally deal with a certain life event, medical condition, or other things. I'd love for you to get in touch and tell me if there is anything you want me to cover. You can e-mail me at [email protected]

Early Challenges in 2025 and How to Not Write the Year Off!

2025 for me has brought some early challenges. I may have a mountain to climb this year in one particular area of my life. At the end of 2024 when I found out about this, it would have been easy for me to think 'well that's 2025 screwed then', and honestly that would have been my old attitude. Now I am able to just focus on the now. Just because a day, a week, or even a month hasn't gone well - doesn't mean that the rest of the year can't be amazing.

Keep an open mind for 2025.

Thank you!

Lastly, thank you for your support. Whether it be subscribing to my emails, signing up to courses, reading my e-guide, or following me on social media, etc - it all means a great deal to me. Journey to Calm turned 5 last month, and I wouldn't be here without you.
