Mindset coaching at Journey to Calm is like having a personal trainer for your thoughts, helping you dismantle the "not good enough" loops and replace them with intentional, calm focus.
We work together to bridge the gap between where you are now and a life where you feel truly in control, confident, and mentally resilient.
It is about more than just "thinking positive". It's about building the practical tools and self-acceptance you need to navigate life’s chaos with a quiet mind and a steady heart.
I’d love to offer you a free 15-minute 'get to know you' call so we can see how we click and ensure I'm the right person for your journey. There is absolutely no pressure. Just a chance to chat, and if you decide you’d like us to move forward together, sessions are then bookable at £50 each.

My name is Lauren, and I am based in the UK with my husband and son. I will give you a bit of background about myself and how I changed my own mindset to help me live a more positive life.
I have many chronic health conditions (excuse the list, but I thought others with similar conditions might like to know that it's possible to have a positive outlook despite having a whole host of medical issues - so, I have FND, MCAS, RH, EDS III, POTS, CFS, PMDD, ADHD, Autism) . Having these conditions has ultimately led me in the direction of using mindfulness to try and manage them.
I have learnt over the years how much of an effect that stress has on the body, not just mentally but physically too. It gave me a special interest in how to calm the mind and the nervous system. I feel like it's important for me to have an understanding of how the nervous system works, to help both myself and my clients understand what may be happening inside our mind and bodies. That said, I do need to put a disclaimer and say that I am not a doctor and my advice and coaching should not be considered medical advice, or substituted for it.
I discovered mindfulness and meditation in my 30's and began to explore these to try and help get my mind and body back to a better place. I have spent my life trying to learn how to cope with anxiety. It is definitely a journey which can be full of ups and downs, but that is ok. Life will not always be easy, but in changing how we deal with things, we can learn to feel better about the challenges we face. I now feel able to look at those challenging days a lot more positively than I did before I trained as a mindfulness teacher and coach. My entire outlook on things has changed, which is a shift that the 'before' version of me didn't think was possible.
I honestly believe that learning to live life using mindfulness techniques has saved me, which is what took me down this path to help others. If you have any questions, you are welcome to message me at [email protected]. I am non-judgemental, and wherever you are on your journey to calm, we can work on a plan together.
